It's great news that a wildlife park in the UK has welcomed a litter of otter triplets, which is considered a "surprise." Giant otters are endangered, and the Yorkshire Wildlife Park is now home to more giant otters than any other zoo or wildlife park in the world. The triplets were born to parents Alexandra and Orimar, who had three other babies in February 2022. The new litter was born on March 27, and the wildlife team is monitoring the babies while their experienced mother, Alex, remains "very relaxed." The oldest sibling, Bonita, is now taking care of the triplets born last year while their mother looks after the new litter.
