Arthur Brand, known as the "Indiana Jones of the Art World," recovered Vincent van Gogh's stolen painting "The Parsonage Garden at Nuenen in Spring" and returned it to the Groninger Museum. The painting was stolen on van Gogh's birthday in 2020 from The Singer Laren museum, which was closed due to COVID-19. Although a suspect was arrested in 2021, the painting remained missing until now. Both Brand and the museum's director have not disclosed the recovery details but confirmed that the artwork will undergo scientific examination before being displayed again. Despite some wear, the painting appears to be in good condition and is the only van Gogh piece in the Groninger Museum's collection.
