Five sets of twins were born in two-and-a-half weeks at Catholic Health's Mercy Hospital in Rockville Centre, New York. A doctor there said she had not seen such an event in her 24 years at the hospital. The twins spent time in the NICU, but the Hernandez family's twins were able to go home a week after birth. The parents said the staff was excited about the twin babies, and the hospital saw 14 sets of twins in 2022, compared to 10 in 2021.
