COVID-19 vaccines do a great job preventing severe disease in most people, but they don’t work well for those with a severely compromised immune system. But now, there are vaccines getting developed with T cells. T cells belong to a group of white blood cells that play a central role in defending the body against viruses, including SARS-CoV-2 which causes COVID-19. Awesome!
