An 82-year-old Navy veteran, Warren "Butch" Marion, retired from his job as a Walmart cashier last week, thanks to the power of TikTok. Rory McCarty, a TikTok user, was inspired to help Marion after watching a TikTok about an elderly female Walmart employee who said she had to work at the retail chain to make ends meet. McCarty then posted a video of Marion working and asked his 277,000 followers to help him raise $100,000 for Marion's retirement via a GoFundMe page. Kindness at its finest!
