When a Foster Mom Didn't Have Childcare, Her College Professor Volunteered as Class Babysitter
Traniece Brown-Warrens, a doctoral candidate at Baylor University, was left without childcare for her foster baby during a trip to Texas for her studies. She reached out to her professors and suggested that she either attend virtually or bring her baby with her to class. The professors welcomed her to bring the baby, and Bobby Ott, a lecturer at the university, even volunteered to hold the baby during class to allow Brown-Warrens to concentrate on her studies. Brown-Warrens hopes to become a superintendent and serve as a role model for her students.
