TikTok Helped This Woman Rehome 100 Cats

Angela Rafuse founded the non-profit organization, My Grandfather's Cat, after adopting her grandparents' 14-year-old cat, Mackenzie, following their passing in 2019. The organization helps seniors and those who are terminally ill find a new family for their pets. Since its inception in 2021, the organization has helped rehome 100 cats, and their online following has grown to over one million. Mackenzie has even earned celebrity cat status, and their merchandise sales, such as Mackenzie sweaters, help fund the non-profit.
