Back in March when lockdown measures were imposed in Ontario to combat the spread of COVID-19, Sophia Joffe’s high school was among the first in the region to introduce online remote-learning programming for its students. Joffe, then a Grade 11 student at Country Day School in King City about an hour’s drive north of Toronto, quickly realized it would be a challenge for students to get the same level of quality education online they were getting in-class. Then, an idea came to her: what if someone could create a single site where as many resources as possible could be aggregated and accessed to meet everyone’s needs when it comes to online learning?
