The Ozone Layer’s Comeback Brings a Chill to Antarctica’s Ocean

Ozone recovery is predicted to shift westerly winds, which will reduce the amount of warm water flowing into the Southern Ocean. Restoring the ozone layer could cool some of the world's southernmost waters and reduce the amount of heat that they store.
