One-Way Masking Can Still Protect Against COVID-19 Infection, Experts Say

States across the U.S. are moving to end some indoor mask mandates as COVID-19 cases from the omicron-fueled surge continue to subside. A mask should still provide protection in an unmasked setting, assuming it's well fitted and worn correctly, said Bill Hanage, an epidemiologist at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. That's pretty relieving!
