Connecticut Schools Adopt 'Screen and Stay' Program to Keep Kids in School After COVID-19 Exposure

The city’s public schools will adopt the Screen and Stay program touted by Gov. Ned Lamont last week to help students exposed to COVID-19 stay in their classrooms. As of Wednesday, parents can choose to have their children participate in the program at Norwalk Public Schools, according to Brenda Wilcox Williams, chief of staff and communications. Parents must sign an affirmation, and have it returned to the school nurse for their child to participate, and it must be submitted before a child can return to school. That sounds nice!
